2024-2026 Full-Time Cohort Anticipated Course Schedule

The anticipated course schedule for the first year of the 2024-2026 full-time cohort is included below. This schedule is shared here to help in forward planning for prospective applicants.

All courses below (with the exception of ENGL& 102, which has numerous offerings through Pierce College with different schedules/modalities) are hybrid online/in-person and meet at the Fort Steilacoom campus. Exact dates of in-person sessions will be determined at the start of each quarter. Please note that the information below is subject to change.

Second Year

The fall, winter, and spring terms of the second year of the BAS-Teaching program will be spent in residency – also known as student teaching. Students will be enrolled in 15 credits of coursework, of which 12 credits are the residency experience itself (ECED 497, ECED 498). The remaining 3 credits will be a Seminar course (ECED 485) that will meet one Thursday each month in-person from 6 - 7:30 p.m..

2024-2026 Part-Time Cohort Anticipated Course Schedule

The BAS-Teaching program has experienced declining interest in our current part-time cohort model. We will communicate possible course schedules once we determine whether our part-time cohort will be offered for the 2024-2026 cycle.
