High School Completion Program

This program is a fast way for international students to earn their Washington State high school diploma while earning credits toward a bachelor's degree. It takes approximately two years to complete the program (depending on English proficiency) and students are able to begin their college studies even before they finish high school. It's a time- and money-saver for students and their families.

When students complete the program, they graduate with both an associate's degree and a Washington State high school diploma. They are immediately able to transfer to a university to complete the last two years of study needed to earn a bachelor's degree.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Students must be 16 or older.
  • Students are not eligible for admission to this program if they have already received a high school diploma in their home country or in the U.S.
  • Students must provide proof of English proficiency. Students whose English is not yet at college level can begin in Pierce College's Intensive English Program.

Students who apply to this program will receive a free evaluation of their transcripts. This will determine an approximate length of study needed to complete the requirements for a high school diploma and associate's degree. To facilitate this, students are asked to submit their transcripts in English for preliminary evaluation.
