Business Technology Certificate (I-BEST)

Complete this certificate in approximately 3 full-time quarters.

Master the skills needed for an entry-level employment position in a business office, as data entry, clerical, receptionist, or other office-support personnel. This three-quarter program is an extra layer of support for you to successfully complete your college-level math and English. Administrative Assistant in the Medical Office

Complete the certificate in approximately 4 full-time quarters and the associate degree in approximately 8 full-time quarters.

Gain skills in medical terminology; anatomy and physiology; and medical insurance forms, in order to get a job within the medical office setting as an administrative assistant and/or office support staff. With this applied technical AA degree, you can further your education through Central Washington University, earning a four-year degree in Information Technology and Administrative Management (ITAM). Medical Billing and Coding

Complete the certificate in approximately 5 full-time quarters and the associate degree in approximately 8 full-time quarters.

Gain a strong foundation in medical terminology; anatomy and physiology; and medical insurance forms. Then take courses in Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10), with the ultimate goal of taking and passing the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) National Exam. Completion of the Medical Billing and Coding degree and AAPC CPC credential prepares you for employment as a medical biller/coder for hospitals, clinics, or doctor’s offices.
