How can I watch the commencement ceremony online?
The 2026 Commencement Ceremony will stream live on YouTube. A link will be posted on our website before the event begins.
What is the event timeline?
- 2:30 p.m. — Doors open; graduates begin lining up
- 3:30 p.m. — Processional and ceremony begin
Is there a rehearsal before graduation?
No. There is no rehearsal. When you arrive, enter through the Exhibition Hall. Staff will guide you and provide all instructions you need for the ceremony.
Is there a dress code?
There is no required dress code. We simply ask that you be respectful to others in attendance and not wear clothing that might offend another’s race, religion, identity, or political views.
When can I order my cap and gown?
You can order your cap and gown online starting April 1, 2026. The final day to place an order is April 24, 2026.
How much does a cap and gown cost?
Your cap and gown are free.
Can someone else pick up my cap and gown?
Yes. Please send them with an email from you giving permission. They will be asked to show ID.
I didn’t apply for graduation. Can I still walk in the ceremony?
Yes. You may still walk in the ceremony. However, to have your name printed in the program, your Degree and Diploma Application must be submitted to the Evaluations Office no later than April 10, 2026.
You still need to apply for graduation so your transcript can be evaluated and your diploma issued.
Do I need tickets for the ceremony?
No tickets are required.
How can I get an invitational letter for a guest traveling internationally?
Please email Evaluations@pierce.ctc.edu for help with an invitational letter.
Will my diploma be mailed, or do I pick it up?
Your diploma will be mailed to the address you have on file with Records and Registration. Please make sure your address is current.
Are there any costs for receiving my diploma?
No. There is no fee.
How long will it take to receive my diploma?
Expect your diploma to arrive by mail in about 6–8 weeks after the ceremony.
When will I receive my graduation photos?
GradImages will contact you by email or mail about 2 to 4 weeks after the ceremony, using the information you included on your name card.
