HYPE (Helping You Prepare for Employment)

HYPE is a series of quarterly events including professional development workshops and on-campus job fairs designed to support students in discovering and enhancing their professional skills, ultimately helping them reach their career aspirations. It allows students to connect with Pierce College staff and program management, providing valuable insights into the paid job opportunities available on campus.

Spring Job Fair

This annual job fair event features local employers and campus departments who are ready to meet Pierce College students, alumni, and community members!

Fort Steilacoom Campus, Cascade Building, Welcome Center: May 12, 2026
Puyallup Campus, College Center Building, 2nd Floor Lobby: May 20, 2026

  • 9 to 10:30 a.m. (veterans and military connected students and community members)
  • 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (open to all students and community members)

Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resume, dress professionally, and be prepared to speak about their education, skills, experience, and career goals.
