Thanks to the hard work of the Institutional Effectiveness Committee—comprised of faculty, staff and administrators—and the Institutional Research office, the Pierce College Institutional Effectiveness report and scorecard are now available for viewing.

The report serves as an important resource used for planning and decision-making purposes. It provides a comprehensive assessment of the college’s Core Themes and related objectives. The Pierce College’s Board of Trustees has determined that mission is achieved when the district meets a minimum of 70 percent of the performance metrics across our five Core Themes. This year, the college achieved 93 percent – the highest score we’ve ever reached.

The report is produced every two years and is largely based on feedback from the Employee Climate Survey and several student surveys including the Community Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE), along with institutional, state, and national data.

The scorecard itself provides a visual representation of how well Pierce College is meeting its mission. The goal of this color-coded scorecard is for each indicator to be green or yellow-green to show that we are meeting our mission. View the full Institutional Effectiveness Report and scorecard.
