It’s not too early to start thinking about fall term! To ensure you have your funding in place for the start of the term, complete your FAFSA or WASFA by the priority date of July 21.

Fill out the FAFSA or WASFA as early as possible, so you can be considered for grants, scholarships, work-study and low-interest loans. You may qualify for more than you expect! Filling out the FAFSA or WASFA is free and must be completed annually.

Most people should complete a FAFSA to get the most money available; however, any Washington resident -- including undocumented students -- can apply for state aid with the WAFSA. If you are unsure whether you should complete the FAFSA or the WASFA, please first complete the WASFA Questionnaire to help determine which is best for you. You only need to complete one application.

It pays to be early. File your FAFSA/WASFA by the priority date of July 21. For questions or to learn more, contact the Office of Financial Aid.
