UPDATE: Funding through Edquity is no longer available. If you are in financial need, please visit the Pierce Advocacy and Resource Connections web page, or explore your funding options today.

Pierce College is excited to announce that we have partnered with Edquity to help bring emergency grants and resources to students experiencing a financial crisis.

Students who were enrolled at Pierce College on or after March 13, 2020, are now eligible to apply for funds from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) from the United States Department of Education, which are funds provided to assist students with emergency aid during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To apply, all you need to do is complete the easy steps listed below. HEERF can help you with childcare, food, housing, learning materials, transportation, and other health/safety needs. During the application process, you will be asked to note which of these areas you need help with. You are encouraged to select all categories where you need assistance, as HEERF can help with more than one category of need if awarded.

  1. Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and download the Edquity App or apply online at http://app.edquity.co.
  2. After you complete an application, Edquity will provide you with an application decision directly.
  3. If you have been approved for funding, you can claim your funds by logging back into your Edquity account and selecting a payment method.

Pierce College cares about your success and we want to be sure that you know that these funds are available to you, if you need some help. If you have any questions about submitting your application, please reach out to support@edquity.co and an Edquity Student Success Representative will be in touch!
