What is Annual Enrollment?

Annual enrollment gives students the ability to sign up for classes in multiple terms. Starting October 28, current students will have the ability to view and register for classes available in both winter and spring term. We plan to implement an annual enrollment approach to include summer, fall, winter and spring term of academic year 2025-26 when registration opens in May.

On October 28, 2024, current students can enroll in both winter and spring term classes. New students will be able to do the same starting November 12, 2024.

What if I only know the classes I want to take this winter?

That’s okay! You are not required to enroll in multiple terms at once. We encourage you to meet with your advisor early to make a plan and enroll in the classes that fit your schedule. Visit the Advising Appointments web page to set up time with an advisor.

Can I change my schedule after enrolling?

Yes. You can make changes to your schedule in any term that has yet to start. After the add/drop period, changes may not be allowed or may require special permission.

What happens if a class I want is full this winter?

If a class is full, you are able to join a waitlist. You will also have the ability to register now for the class if it is offered during a future term. In addition, we review enrollment on a regular basis during the registration period. As we review student enrollment and waitlists, we aim to respond by opening new sections.
